1.'Halley's comet is going to strike earth and has some poisonous gas that will kill whole bio-system on earth [1910].'
2. 'Earth is going to be freezed by 1990 [OLD REVOLUTIONARY ROMOUR in 1974]'
3. 'Earth temperature is being increased [Current Fashion]'
4. 'Earth is coming to an end in 2012 [Upcoming favorite threat]'

Some details of above ‘mythical’ facts:
1. In 1910, people were threatened to not to come out of home when amazing comet is going to be seen first time after 76 years. They were warned that comet contains some poisonous gas called cyanogen which will kill whole bio-system on earth. The only people, who extracted benefits from this rumor, were non-ethical businessmen who started to sell different tablets and syrups to survive from this rare and gorgeous event.[Oh crap….]
2. In 1974, TIME magazine[24th June,1974] has published article which said that earth is going to be freezed by 1990 and we'll enter into ice age." […OH...GLOBAL COOLING…!!!!!. thats old[COLD] fashion ,MAN…, now the latest trend is to be HOT!!!! ].
All these crap news are favorite and fashion to talk, but this is not a new trend. History shows that, earlier, due to superstitious mindset, people used to accept this kind of [Threat (For them), news(For media), business(for value-less[in fact no value] and money making animals)].
Now, there is the latest trend[brand]: GLOBAL WARMING. News is, earth is getting hotter day by day, as CO2 is being continuously poured into atmosphere by uncontrolled industrial development. If we look at the hottest day in last century was 13 september, 1922. At that time, world has not been a rapid pace on a ride of industry and technology as today. Coldest day in last 1000 years, it was before 400 years. Big past issue, ozone depletion, nature has started to cure it before a long time, now it is significantly reduced. Atkama desert in chilie, the driest place in the world [till known] where it is almost no rain for last 450 years and the area is not industrialized and full of humanities. Still there is no rain. Trees are already consuming almost double CO2 than earlier due to increase in amount of CO2. So the point is: some of the whether events like Ice melting, temperature variation, rain irregularity may not be due to [so-called] uncontrolled industrial development. It may be nature driven [some of them really are].
Nature itself is powerful enough, who knows how to act/react on particular climate changes.
One Incident and important observation:
In 1883, Krakatoa, a huge volcano in Indonesia started erupting, that eruption was so powerful that even India and so many countries around it was affected for next 3 years by rain of coal-gas and other volcano elements. “No human efforts were required to cure [OR to cause] it.”
I do not say that, CO2 and other chemical substances are not affecting nature at all and are not hazardous. But we should consciously understand the laws of nature and observe the Recent history of climate changes [5000 years] to find the root cause [which may be human or natural] in current climate changes or catastrophic event.
We should try to understand the script behind this big-budget and super-hit film of “global warming” and check the level of fiction [as well as fact] in this BUSSINESS-ORIENTED DRAMA.
